Virtualization

Servers virtualization

Servers virtualization allows optimized use of hardware resources, consolidation of existing servers or fast and efficient implementation of new services with flexible assignment of hardware Resources of virtual servers, increased stability of the system or simply achieving high availability of services, even for applications that don't know how to work in a cluster.

Virtualization of servers and opens doors for very fast recovery in case of a problem with the server concerning cheap repair scenarios in the event of a disaster. Significantly easier migration to new servers or systems for providing data.
Virtualization allows procurement and maintenance of a smaller number of servers, which appropriately requires less space in ruck units, and from there less cooling and less electricity, and all this leads to significantly more efficient and economical system.
Servers virtualization is a cornerstone of Cloud computing.

Desktop Virtualization/VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)

With the virtualization of desktops there is separation of client operating system from the clients hardware, and the user keeps the same desktop regardless of which device he will use and where it connect to.For virtualization of desktops there are used server resources, while the performance of client PCs accessing virtual desktops become insignificant, so it can be replaced by cheaper and more practical thin or zero clients, tablets and so on. User data while remaining the server infrastructure which ensures system reliability.

Virtualization of desktops enables:

  • Centralized management of desktops;
  • Consolidation and optimization of desktops;
  • Simply upgrading the client operating systems;
  • Raising various safety systems;
VDI solve the problems of diversity and age of the client computers in companies, so that enables the use of new operating systems on older computers.

Virtualization of desktops allows much greater accessibility to computers of end users, because in case of a breakdown of the devices, it can simply make a replacement with another without the need for reinstalling the operating system, applications and user data copying.
Depending on the needs and opportunities, it chooses the technology that will be used for desktop virtualization -VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) or virtualized presentation (remote desktop).

Applications Virtualization

Virtualization of applications represents creating of a packaged applications that run in their own, so called, balloon and it will be no interaction with other applications on the system level.
Virtual application does not install, respectively its package is only distributed to the client computer. Virtual applications are running on the client computer, and can be executed without having access to the network.
Application virtualization solves the problem of simultaneous execution of mutually incompatible applications on a computer, accelerates and simplifies distribution and installation of the application on a user's computer, accelerates application upgrade and replace computers at brake down.

Benefits:
  • Savings for efficient use of IT resources and energy
  • Secured Business Continuity
  • Rapid adjustment to emerging needs
